Geneva apples, September, 2026
The weather turned cold this morning, and all over Maine fires were lit, windows were closed and sweaters were dug out of the closet or the trunk or wherever it is we left them in April.
Skylar began the gargantuan task of sorting the many dozens of apples we collected in Geneva, NY at the USDA apple repository. We’ll be studying, photographing, describing, and displaying them for many weeks to come. Oh yes, we will also be eating them.
